Purpose: The Graduate Association of Social Work (GASW) at CSUDH was founded to promote student involvement in social issues, enhance cultural diversity, and pursue social justice through community service, interactions with career professionals and facilities, and campus awareness of the social work profession. 

 

What We Do: Connect students with an interest in social work towards opportunities that enhance their development in the field along academic, social, and professional dimensions, all while upholding the profession’s core values of service, social justice, dignity, and worth of the person, the importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence.
